A&D Australasia is the Australian division of a Japanese weighing and inspection

technology manufacturer, A&D Company Ltd. We market to and support customers across Australasia, selling our products via/with a variety of OEM and industry partners and dealers. Our Australian HQ is in Adelaide and we have sales offices in Sydney and Melbourne.

Our products and systems are widely used in manufacturing and laboratory applications and we are one of the leading brands in the measurement & inspection industry.

About the role

An Inspection Systems division has been determined as a significant growth area in our business, to which the X-Ray discipline is expected to be a major contributor.

We see future demand for A&D X-Ray products growing rapidly and we need a product specialist to oversee and control the expected growth in our business.

The right candidate must have extensive experience in analysing potential X-Ray requirements and the ability to prepare, pre-program, install & maintain A&D X-Ray Systems.

In addition, the successful candidate will play an integral role in the growth of the X-Ray Division by providing training and mentoring to junior staff who have been identified as future X-Ray Technician candidates.

The successful candidate will also be required to provide in-person and virtual training to other X-Ray technology operatives within the global A&D network of over 20 international subsidiaries.

In addition to the training provided globally, the successful applicant will play a key role in the future development of X-Ray system products by A&D Company Ltd, based in Tokyo, Japan.

The successful applicant must also accept the role of Radiation Safety Officer (RSA) at A&D Australasia.

The successful applicant will be Adelaide based but frequent travel would be required to visit customers and distribution partners all over AU/NZ and travel to Japan and other network countries for product training and presentations would be required.

This role is not an entry-level position, the successful applicant must possess all of the abilities mentioned in this role description, with a very high preference placed on those with previous experience with A&D X-Ray products.
