What is the opportunity?

The Senior Wireless Engineer will be working with talented IT professionals at the bank in designing and supporting the implementation of Cisco and Aruba Wireless Controllers based with ClearPass and Cisco Controllers 98xx and DNAC as well as Switches in highly available production networking environment. Using RF coverage tools such as Ekahau to model high rise campus buildings Airwave and DNAC for monitoring and reporting. In addition to deep understanding of TCP/IP protocol the position requires the DHCP/DNS, F5, LDAP, Aruba ClearPass and PAN Firewalls experience.

This position involved using the RBC advanced IT labs for testing new products and certifying codes for new designs and vulnerability management.

What will you do

• Provide WiFi design, implementation and support to Operation and L2 teams.

• Lab testing of new products and integration with RBC diverse technology infrastructure.

• Utilize all available resources and automation to lead troubleshooting and TAC calls.

• Manage problems and provide design fixes.

• Vulnerability assessments and code certification based on lab testing process.

• Participate in audit and provide evidence for audit closures.

• Identify any major operational/networking problems to the Telecom Development team with possible recommendations for solution.

• Be part of a talented team managing Wireless, IoT, Campus & Branch Network as well as Access Control (TACACS, RADIUS and NAC).

• Report directly to the Director of End User Networks and Access Control.

• Report issues to Telecom management and representatives of affected businesses.

• Write MOPs and initiate change control.

• Provide design documentations and guidelines.

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have

• ClearPass experience with Guest WiFi

• Wireless RF troubleshooting and design

• Controllers based WiFi experience either Aruba 72xxor Cisco 9800.

• Follow up with service partners and ensure end user satisfaction

Nice to Have

• PAN firewall experience

• Deep packet inspection wireless

• Ekahau design
