A fulltime vacancy exists for a MIG Welder Manufacturing Fabricator to join the production team of a well-established and highly regarded international company, manufacturing a variety of precision CNC engineering machines that combine machining operations like drilling and tapping with cutting operations.

Key qualities of an ideal candidate:

• You must be able hit the ground running.
• Trade qualified and/or current welding tickets are advantageous
• Experience with Large Mild Steel Assembly Fabrications
• MIG welding - Light Gauge Mild Steel from 1.2mm to 10mm.
• Production & MIG welding brackets end plates onto 10mm plate.
• Interpret design drawings / measure / cut accurately / weld neatly.
• Weld accurately, with precision, good finish & minimal cleaning required
• Looking for someone versatile and can think outside the square.
• Physically fit, good attitude, a team player and not afraid of a challenge.
• Clear fluent English must be spoken in order to follow instructions and for Health & Safety reasons
• Be currently living in NZ & have the right to work in NZ holding an NZ Work Visa

Wage        $25-$35/hr neg with skills & experience
