Web Advisor
The TEC - Te Amorangi MÄtauranga Matua is a small Crown agency with a big job to do - ensuring New Zealanders have the skills and the knowledge they need to ensure lifelong success to build a great country. We lead the Government's relationship with the tertiary education sector in New Zealand and provide career services from education to employment.
We are looking for a Web Advisor who can manage our online content to government digital and accessibility standards. This is a permanent full time position based in our Channels team, in the Strategy & Design Directorate.
What will you be doing?
› Working with content providers across the organisation to publish content across three of our websites
› Ensuring that content is developed in accordance with user design principles, government web standards and web content accessibility guidelines, Search Engine Optimisation best practice, and in-house style guides
› Triaging web requests and coordinating publishing with content developers and editors within the team.
What can you bring?
› Relevant experience in working in online content development
› Online Content Management Systems (CMS) such as Silverstripe
› Microsoft Office Suite
› Adobe software such as Photoshop
› HTML (basic)
› A tertiary qualification at NZQA level 7 or equivalent experience
Desirable, but not essential:
› Familiarity with software development bug tracking, issue tracking, and project management systems, such as JIRA
› Basic knowledge of Google Analytics.
