This Top International Industrial Gear Box Manufacturer require a forward-thinking Warehouse/Assembly Assistant to join their professional, service-orientated and growing team.

You will enjoy a busy but stimulating warehouse/operations environment, where the responsibilities within the role will be:

• Processing and Co-Ordination of inwards and outwards goods
• Picking of production orders
• Helping to control the flow of Production i.e.: follow-up of jobs sheets from start to completion
• Helping with some assembly work
• Helping with spray painting finished product
• Booking and handling of freight with local contractors
• General warehousing duties
• General Administration
• Computer processing - Word/Excel/SAP

The successful candidate would ideally have some mechanical aptitude, and will have worked in a warehousing/assembly environment for 2- 3 years, where they have had experience in meeting the daily flow and prioritization from an inwards/outwards perspective. Verbal and written communication skills, a high degree of organization and well-developed computer skills, are also requirements for this busy but rewarding role. Experience in either the power transmission industry, bearing industry, or a related field would also be an advantage.
