Working closely with Ministry of Health, Ministry of Social Development, District Health Boards and other fund providers to secure and deliver existing and new social and community initiatives has resulted in the expansion of its workforce with more doctors, nurses, social workers, administration and back-office functions/personnel.
Being the winner of the 2021 GenPro General Practice of the Year, South Seas Healthcare is passionate and committed to meeting the needs of local Pasifika people and their family by offering a suite of community, social and youth services has been pivotal to its growth and continuity.
Over the past year, South Seas Healthcare has undergone rapid growth through our involvement in the national COVID-19 response campaign. In the establishment and coordination of the COVID-19 Community Based Assessment Centre in Otara, South Seas have been loyal to the cause by playing its part in the “Team of 5 million†by working hard to set up a food bank, a wellbeing hub, youth responsive services and call centre service for our community, right here, in the heart of Otara. Fast forward to today, alongside our Pacific Healthcare Providers we are leading the running of the Pacific Locality Vaccination Centre in Otara as part of the journey to move our team of 5 million through an unprecedented event.
