Warehouse Administration / Reception

About the role

As the key administrative support for the site, you will work closely with a large and inclusive team in a busy and interesting working environment. 

Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will be responsible to provide administrative support to the warehouse, and be the face of Specialised Logistics Australia with responsibility for all reception duties.

Some of your day-to-day activities will include:

• First point of contact for incoming calls and queries, including front counter attendance and assisting customers
• Administrative support including management of central email inbox, reviewing and responding to emails
• Liaison with warehouse team to ensure a streamline and efficient process for communication and delivery of services

About you

To be successful in this role, it is a requirement to be able to work in a team environment, have well developed relationship skills as well as good verbal and written skills. You will need to be someone who is able to work autonomously and to tight deadlines and work comfortably in a continuous improvement work environment. The skills and experience best suited to this role:

• Minimum 3-5 years administrative experience in a busy environment
• Demonstrated ability to problem solve and work towards solutions
• Positive and proactive approach to change with a growth mindset and eye for improvement opportunities
• A competent and confident communicator with well-developed written skills
• Proven planning and organisational skills, including the ability to manage competing deadlines and timeframes
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality and customer satisfaction
