Part-Time Veterinary Receptionist

Mosman Veterinary Hospital is a small animal hospital on Sydney’s Lower North Shore. We are a busy hospital which takes pride in practicing at a high standard and providing exceptional service to our customers and their pets. We are looking for a part time receptionist to join our enthusiastic team. Your weekly roster will consist of approximately 20-25 hours from Monday to Friday – however there is the option of more hours to cover staff on leave.
Essential Criteria

• Previous experience in a customer service/receptionist position
• Have a focus on providing exceptional customer care
• Have excellent communication skills and telephone manner
• A positive, can-do attitude
• Work well in a team environment & autonomously
• Be highly organised, remain calm under pressure & possess an eye for detail
• Maintain a clean working environment
• An efficient problem solver
• Friendly personality
• Competence with money handling and EFT sales
• Punctual and reliable

Desired Criteria (but not essential)

• Previous veterinary receptionist experience (highly desirable)
• Experience using RX Works software
• Experience handling dogs & cats
• Comprehensive over-the-counter product knowledge

Remuneration based on experience. Commencement date: ASAP!
