We are currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Full-time Veterinary Receptionist.

Based at our Bundaberg Animal Hospital the role includes early shifts starting at 7:30am and late shifts ending at 6:30pm as well as some Saturday shifts.

We are a dedicated team that take pride in providing a supportive working environment for all staff.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing exceptional customer service to our clients and their pets
• Answering phones and scheduling appointments
• Follow-up and management of reminders
• Responding to emails
• Clerical duties (processing payments, reconciling cash drawer, banking, mail)
• Liaising with our nurses and vets to provide accurate advice for clients
• Other tasks as required

The ideal candidate will have:

• Excellent customer service skills
• A warm, friendly and caring attitude towards clients and their pets
• Must be available to work Saturdays on a rotating basis
• The ability to multi-task
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Professional presentation and demeanor
• Previous reception experience

Please note this position is not a pathway to Veterinary Nursing.
