About Design at RBC
Our goal is to become our industry’s leader in exceptional digital experiences. To get there, we’re putting strategy, research, design principles, and technical innovation at the heart of everything we do. We need talented, experienced professionals like you to bring this process to life.
You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have an interest in design systems. You’re energized by looking holistically at how a suite of digital products can be designed, developed, and coordinated to create a consistent user experience that supports maximum reuse.
What you’ll do
As the Design Manager on our Design Platform team, you’ll help shape a design system (RIG) used by hundreds of designers and developers across RBC. You’ll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to design, develop, and test reusable patterns and components for use in digital products. And you’ll consult with senior stakeholders to identify and solve challenges that affect the entire Digital Design team.
You’ll help make work efficient, effective, and enjoyable for your team. Your experience and people skills will help you guide a high-performing product design team, and optimize their output within an Agile framework. You’ll increase the team’s effectiveness in a collaborative, cross-functional environment, overseeing multiple concurrent projects.
