ABOUT THE ROLE

The role involves identifying on-air placements of television advertisements, programmes, and promotions. You will be working towards our daily data delivery to clients. You will identify the programmes and advertisements on TV and input the information needed for capturing them into the Nielsen database structure.

HOURS

• This is a permanent part-time role, in the range of 30 hours per week.
• The morning shift starts at 6 AM and is approximately 5-6 hours per day.
• Reliable transport for this time is essential.
• This is a desk-based role. Our offices are located in Takapuna, Auckland. In the event of changing Covid-19 alert levels, work will be undertaken from home.
• You will work a set schedule of 5x fixed morning shifts per week.
• The schedule options are:
  • Schedule 1: Monday-Friday mornings
  • Schedule 2: Thursday-Monday mornings

RESPONSIBILITIES

• The role involves identifying on-air placements of television advertisements, programmes, and promotions.

• You will identify the programmes and advertisements on TV and input the information needed for capturing them into the Nielsen database structure.
• General data entry of documents and administrative duties as required
• Generate reports as required
• Provide administrative support to the team

REQUIREMENTS

• Fast typing skills
• Reliable and always on time
• Fluent in English with excellent spelling and listening skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Competent computer skills and confidence to learn new software
• Ability to keep to deadlines and stay focused on repetitive work
• Basic research skills (such as internet search)
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, within a global company
• General awareness of brands in the New Zealand advertising market (preferred)
• Experience or interest in the media business or market research (preferred)
• Proven experience with fast and accurate Data Entry (preferred)
• Loves TV!
• This is an entry-level position at Nielsen.
• All applicants must have work authorization in New Zealand
