ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Objectives:
Team is responsible for providing Trade processing support for North America, Canada and LatAm countries.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
1. Processing standard
a. Processing of day to day transactions as per local operating procedures.
b. Delivers as per Service Level Agreement at all times. Ensure service quality is maintained
c. Understand customer requirements, investigates and responds appropriately..
d. Meet required productivity metrics set for the team
e. Ensure tracking, accurate and timely resolutions of issues and exception raised
f. Adhering to the latest compliance /Sanctions / FATCA/AML policies and guidelines
g. Provision / deletion / modification of entitlements for user to access Citi applications. Trade Maintenance activities which includes Customer Static Database maintenance, group profile maintenance etc.Completion of request and clarification / Intimation sent to enduser.
h. Managing send site expectations via phone call / emails for query resolution / clarifications
i. Decent knowledge of various trade products like: LC / Standby/ Accounting /Payments / Supply chain finance/ Compliance etc.
2. Risk and Control
a. Adhere to internal policies to ensure compliance with legal parameters as well as company policies and procedures
b. Maintain performance metrics to track defects, productivity.
c. Assist unit for audit preparation and necessary actions for clean audit results
3. Migration and Project management
a. Support/ participate in new/ongoing projects/migrations and ensure smooth cut over with minimized risks – internal and external
b. Assist in developing and maintaining training database, training materials, and trackers for the migration
c. Support training for new staffs. Ensure training and parallel run are well planned and executed without impact on delivery
d. Participate in cross functional projects at unit level
d. Helps in Continuous Review of operating procedures and highlights risks in processes and puts mitigating controls.
4. Revenue and Cost management
a. Give suggestions or participate in process improvements and cost improvement initiatives
5. Team Management
a. Ensure the team provides the best productivity to meet SLA targets
b. Motivate the team towards the business objective
c. Maintain team’s performance metrics to track defects, productivity

4. Participates in all process automation deliverables
5. Supports and performs UAT Testing, wherever required.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required
Preferred
Education:
Bachelor Degree (Commerce/Science stream preferred)
OR
Master Degree (preferably Finance)
Experience:
Bachelor Degree - 4+ years in Trade Services / Trade Finance
Master Degree (preferably Finance) - with 2+ years of experience (Trade Operations/ Services).
Certifications:
CDCS certification
