Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of methodologies to transfer interest rate risk from lines-of-business (LOB) to Treasury
  • Engage LOBs and understand their balance sheets and liquidity positions - set FTP approach that best reflects the economics of each product.
  • FTP NII analysis; Partnering with Treasury Product Control on any PNL issues or developments
  • Develop an understanding of the 30+ Legal Entity and 30+ CCY profiles in EMEA region and the FTP methodology associated with them
  • Respond to multiple, frequent LOB queries across the region relating to FTP
  • Bespoke and ad hoc analysis and reports for senior management covering CCY profile, Legal Entity, LOB positions and liquidity.
  • Projects relating to FTP, including but not limited to the system migrations and both Treasury originated and LOB NBIAs
  • Maintain strong governance processes

Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level
  • Experience in fixed income products, FX, interest rate analytics, and net interest income financial analysis or balance sheet analytics is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, critical thinking, investigative problem-solving
  • Proven discipline for ensuring robust control environment
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize multiple tasks, and bring tasks to complete closure
  • Organized and able to execute responsibilities with minimal supervision
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively across different businesses and functional areas
  • Strong skills in MS Excel and Power Point
