Job Description

The Microsoft Store has become one of the largest worldwide retailers of Microsoft products and is poised for significant growth in the next five years. To fuel our continued growth, we are seeking a Category Manager who will lead the Connected Life business and manage the Mobile, MRVR and IoT categories. This individual will be accountable for product assortment line logic, go to market pricing decisions, seasonal promotion strategy, top line revenue and gross margin.

Responsibilities

How you can make an impact:

  • Assist the lead Category Manager as necessary to deliver annual and quarterly targets
  • Flawless planning and execution of major product launches and promotional campaigns
  • Deliver market and performance analysis that drives new business growth ideas
  • Use your collaboration skills to ensure timely stakeholder communications
  • Prioritization of key tasks to focus on driving impact

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Roadmap: Weekly maintenance of tools to ensure accurate product lifecycle management, product onboarding to end of life
  • Promotional Calendar: Maintain a 4-month rolling promotional calendar, update tools as necessary to create new promotions and make changes to existing offers
  • Pricing Maintenance: Maintain product pricing in tools and market pricing analysis of competitor products
  • Collaboration: ensure internal cross-functional teams are always up to date with the latest Category plans through teams
  • Analysis: Analyze business performance, provide insights and ideas to lead Category Manager
