About the Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity within our Asset & Transport team as the Traffic Administration/Support Officer.  In this role, you will be providing support in the areas of traffic engineering and transport to enhance Council's service provision to the community. 

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate their competency for the position by meeting the following essential criteria:

  • Certificate 4 Qualifications in Business Administration and extensive relevant experience.
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills including report writing, and the ability to relate to people across a range of backgrounds.
  • High level of expertise in Microsoft Office applications and a sound understanding of computer network and email systems
  • Demonstrated ability to work both collaboratively in a team and individually without direct supervision
  • High level of written and verbal communication and engagement skills to accurately convey Council’s policies, procedures and Government legislation to internal/external customers.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing timely, accurate and professional customer service to internal and external customers in often unusual or complex situations.
