Your role as the Test Engineer will be vital to the success of our customers' software development process. In this role you will be helping to deliver applications and features that are developed using a variety of technologies and platforms. Our customers' technology is integral to the business, and you will be part of a dynamic and high performing team that helps ensure features are delivered correctly, and that the quality of applications is maintained to a brilliant standard.

This role will expose you to a variety of responsibilities and you’ll get to work alongside some brilliant minds and will form key relationships with people from all parts of the business such as, the Development Lead, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Product Development Manager, the Test Automation Lead and other Business stakeholders.

Check out the list of responsibilities you'll be tasked with:

• Collaborating with our customers' Product teams will happen daily and will be vital for you to successfully deliver the right things the right way.
• You’ll be actively contributing to team meetings including daily stand-ups
• You will facilitate test conditions workshops
• Implement automated tests
• Champion quality practices and processes within your team and wider sphere of influence across our global teams
• Contribute to the regression testing effort of each release
• Build strong relationships, and communicate effectively with others
• Undertake testing through API's, browsers, windows clients and on mobile device

Technical requirements:

• Requirements and systems analysis skills
• Experience with test automation at a coding level
• Thorough knowledge and experience in the practical application of the principles of functional and non‐functional testing.
• Experience with source control (Git)
• Ability to write and execute SQL queries, and a general understanding of relational databases
• Agile experience

Bonus technical experience would be:

• Experience with continuous integration tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab)
• Selenium Webdriver, Test Complete
• Performance testing
• Exposure to a .Net development environment
• Experience with Amazon Web Services
• Mobile app testing
