The Azure team are seeking a product marketing manager to focus on our Azure resilience and reliability services, patterns, and practices. In this role, you will contribute to Microsoft’s mission “to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more” by promoting the adoption of localized, sustainable, resilient, & compliant Azure capabilities and helping to tell the story of what makes Azure unique. 

The ideal candidate is looking to go deep with our engineering teams and customers to understand the unique investments that make cloud computing fit-for-purpose in mission-critical and critical infrastructure roles, as well as the architectures that help customers set the right “reliability posture” for their scenario.

To make this happen, you will be working alongside Microsoft Azure infrastructure marketing team, our engineering counterparts, key customer stakeholders and the Microsoft worldwide technical community.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate awareness activities to highlight Microsoft Azure’s resilience and reliability services such as Availability Zones, Azure Chaos Studio, and Azure Site Recovery
• Showcase product investments on cloud platform availability & performance
• Understand customer concerns and risks, and identify appropriate mitigations
• Incorporate proven practices and customer feedback into Microsoft’s Well-Architected offerings
• Work with peers across Microsoft to drive a Microsoft Cloud approach to incident management and crisis communications

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ marketing or product management experience
• Experience in technical product marketing
• Experience in public sector and restricted industry solutions
• Proven capability to collaborate with and influence a varied group of stakeholders for impact
• Ruthless prioritization, management and driving of a high impact-project to completion
• Experience with customer-facing messaging and content
• Ability to manage time-sensitive projects
• Interest in customer experience, technology and products
• Demonstrated bias for action and driving results
• A./B.S in Computer Science, Business, Marketing, Accounting, Finance or related field preferred
