The Technical Lead for Debt Management is responsible for providing technical expertise and knowledge that contributes to a fair and firm regulatory system through the reporting and analysis of debt owed to the Crown, coordinating work activities, supporting investigations and identification of risks and trends.
Working alongside an existing Technical Lead in a freshly established Debt Management team, you have the opportunity to shape our focus, join in on or lead work programme items and new initiatives that improve the way we work, simplify the way people do business with us, or gain efficiencies that see an increase in our performance.

You will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao MÄori and promote tikanga and Te Reo MÄori. You will also have knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an appreciation of te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public sector.
