The opportunity 

Do you want to help architect a better working world? We are seeking a highly motivated individual to lead the development of a number of exciting innovation projects within our Digital Assurance team. Position available in Sydney or Melbourne - other locations will be considered.

Your key responsibilities 

• Lead the development of innovative products using emerging technologies (Blockchain, Azure cloud,Cyber, AI and IOTs)
• Support hands-on development of front-end and back-end solutions
• Collaborate with and be a part of an integrated product team of Solution Architects, Brand & marketing team, Product Managers, Business SME’s & Testers using Design Thinking and Agile/Scrum methodology
• Manage a team of Developers, and develop and uphold engineering standards 
• Work with large data sets, building statistical models, designing and developing APIs, Unit Testing APIs and building responsive web front-ends

Skills and attributes for success 

To qualify for the role you must have: 

• At least 5 years' experience in Full Stack Development & leading a team
• Experience developing UI’s using latest frameworks such as Angular, React and Vue or any other front-end framework
• Experience working on .NET based backend applications and REST APIs
• Experience working in an Agile team and familiarity with collaboration tools like Jira & DevOps
• Working knowledge of versioning and source control systems e.g. GIT, Team Foundation Server etc.
• Ability to present complex designs to senior stakeholders and clients

Ideally, you’ll also have: 

• Knowledge of developing smart contracts using solidity language on blockchains
• Experience using cloud automation tools such as ARM templates and blueprints
• Domain knowledge in cybersecurity and cloud security and monitoring
• Extensive experience working with databases and underlying optimisation concepts

• Excellent academic background, including a bachelor’s and preferably a master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology/Systems or another related field.
