Technical Architect

Technical Architect is responsible for designing the functional and non-functional solutions on HCL Commerce (WCS) platform on Cloud based and on-premise application servers enabling optimum performance of the application and ensuring scalability with growing user base and functionalities

• Responsible for performing J2EE architecture development including Servlets, Web Services, EJBs, JMS services, WCS tag libraries and JSP.
• Responsible for formulating eCommerce workflows using subsystems in WCS Ex Order, Catalog, Member, Marketing etc.
• Responsible for developing Search and Core e-commerce solutions using WebSphere Commerce Suite.
• Responsible for designing SOLR and Elastic search integration with WCS
• Responsible for solutions to enhance platform stability and performance monitoring
• Responsible for drawing the product roadmap to incorporate the latest Feature Packs, fix packs and versions of WCS and WAS
• Responsible for providing solutions in WCS with Web Content Management Systems CMS, Webservers such as IBM Http Server.
• Experience in using DB2 and developing and executing SQL, Views, Triggers and Stored Pros.

Education Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• At least 10-12 years total experience of which at least 8 years in HCL Commerce (WCS) development and 3 years in WCS Architecture
• Scripting Language : Python, Jython, Java Script
• Application Servers : WebSphere Application Server (WAS)
• Databases : DB2, PLSQL and SQL Server
• Tools : Eclipse, Jenkins, XML, WSDL, XSD, REST, SOA, BOD
• Programming Language: JAVA (JDK 1.6 and JDK 1.8+), JEE, Struts, Spring, JQuery, JavaScript Frameworks, JSP, HTML5 CSS Framework.
