Job Description

As a Technical Advisor in the Employee Experience Advisory Centre, you will create a positive impact for employees and managers by providing accessible, simple and proactive HR services and advice.

Your role

  • Provide advice and technical support to help stakeholders interpret and apply HR policies, procedures and programs
  • Provide useful information for decision-making, helping to improve HR management activities
  • Participate in workforce planning and development
  • Help set up training or information activities for employees and managers
  • Ensure compliance with laws, labour standards and work processes, in accordance with Bank guidelines
  • Participate in various surveys and gather relevant information to add to the Bank’s HR databases
  • Analyze the data collected and compare it with market data
  • Apply and update the work methods supported by continuous improvement principles to gain efficiency within the team
  • Establish close ties with various internal and external parties to better meet sector objectives

This position reports to the Employee Experience Advisory Centre Leader. Working at the call centre means working in a team, surrounded by experts, to guide internal partners towards the solutions that best suit their needs.

Required skills 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR undergraduate diploma from a university or the National Bank University Program and 2 years of relevant experience
  • Bilingualism in English and French (spoken and written), essential, as the Advisory Centre serves all the Bank’s employees in Canada

Preferred skills 

  • Experience in an advisory role
  • Experience in call centres, desirable
  • Good analytical and summarizing skills; ability to identify issues and suggest potential solutions
  • Able to exert influence and teamwork-oriented
  • Able to work on several files at the same time
