OUR SERVICES
Kainga Rua is a whanau centred service that focuses on providing the support and tools for tamariki and their whanau, The service walks alongside tamarik and their whanau who are rawakore (experiencing extreme proverty) and kainga kore (homeless) who are confronted with challenges that significantly impact on their health, social, education and economic outcomes and in particular housing. 

Te Haumirimiri Ngākau Mokopuna is a collaborative approach to prevent tamariki going into statutory care. We aim to keep tamariki safe and well in loving whānau and communities. We provide a high quality Te Ao Māori service with our tamariki, mokopuna and their whānau. 

We are seeking team leaders who have experience in building a team of dynamic people who will be able to:

  • Build positive relationships with tamariki, mokopuna and whanau 
  • Connecting with whanau, hapu, and iwi
  • Working with our whanau to achieve their goals

The expectation of your role for you would be able to demonstrate: 

  • Empowering others to deliver social work services to a high standard and meet KPI
  • Expertise in applying the articles and principles of Treaty of Waitangi into practice
  • Use initiative to resolve issues and be able think on your feet
  • Have a good understanding on IT resources e.g laptop, phones
  • Have experience in managing and leading people.
