Your new company:

SmartGrass is a New Zealand owned artificial turf specialist that supplies, installs and maintains a range of synthetic turf across the country. The projects range from small residential lawns to large international grade sports facilities. SmartGrass headquarters are in Christchurch and are in their 5th operating year, growing in size significantly over this period. Last year SmartGrass launched in Wellington, and are now looking for enthusiastic, hard-working team players to join the Wellington business.

Your new role:

You will work in a growing team in the Wellington region. You will report to the installation manager and work self-sufficiently to manage jobs. This will include job descriptions, managing job deadlines and your own team of staff. The teams are made up of two along with labour hire where needed. The role will cover Wellington, Porirua and the Hutt area. You will be working on a mixture of commercial and residential projects. You will also work on bigger contracts for key clients across Wellington and liaise with customers

What you'll need to succeed:

• Hammer hand experience- Specifically working with timber, power tools and hand tools
• Class 1 Licence
• Able to use a mobile app on a phone to see schedules ect
• Experience on digger machinery, dumpers, Rollers and compacters
• Experience driving with a trailer
• Prior supervisor experience is not essential but would be an advantage for this role
