APM WorkCare understands that prevention and proactive management of injuries in the workplace is critically important, and we work with employers and their people to minimise the personal and business impact of injuries, illness and disability through prevention, rehabilitation, and training.

The role

As Team Leader, located in Melbourne, you will use your clinical expertise and occupational rehabilitation experience to lead, support and develop a team of 7 Rehabilitation Consultants. While managing your own case load of clients, you are primarily responsible for ensuring the delivery of customer and client KPIs and operational targets for your team.  

In this role, you’ll be….

  • Providing leadership, support, and direction to your team to ensure high engagement
  • Managing the operational performance of your team to meet client rehabilitation metrics
  • Driving high levels of customer and stakeholder satisfaction
  • Managing a range of customer accounts including Worksafe, DVA and TAC
  • Achieving effective outcomes for clients through teleconference, employer visits, worksite meetings or client visits

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in Occupational Rehabilitation
  • Experience liaising with clients, Insurers, and employers
  • Tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Rehabilitation Counselling or Psychology
  • Professional registration with AHPRA, ESSA or ASORC
  • Drivers’ license, willing to travel locally
  • A current, or ability to hold a Working with Children Check
