Salary: 71,000.00 plus 10% superannuation

Our client SMPR Australia PTY LTD is looking for an experienced Taxation Accountant for their Belmore Office.

Description of role- Taxation Accountant

• Preparing Tax Return for Company
• Preparation of Business Activity Statement and IAS.
• Preparation of Financial statements and  End of year Reconciliations.
• Managing and tracking Bank Reconciliations.
• Liaise with ATO, Banks and professional partners.
• Provides financial and taxation advice on business structures, plans and operations.
• Prepares taxation returns for organisations.
• Liaises with financial institutions and brokers to establish funds management arrangements.
• Introduce and maintains accounting systems and advises on the selection and application of computer-based accounting systems.
• Maintain internal control systems

To be eligible for this position, you must have:

At least 3 years of work experience as a Taxation Accountant in a large trading firm in Australia with CPA recognised qualifications at Bachelor or master’s degree level.

Up to date knowledge of Australian accounting and taxation regulations

English competency is must

Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent resident or have full work rights in Australia.

Ability to communicate with senior stakeholders and ATO for compliance and monitoring purpose.
