Due to their continued growth, our partner is looking for a Systems Engineer to deliver key projects, security awareness and training to clients across Dunedin.

About the role:

This role will require an effective communicator who can build strong relationships at all levels of the business to provide context and awareness of security threats, develop effective training and education programs to upskill clients and support the development of best practices and processes. You will need to be adaptable as the position will require you to deliver project work, security, and training.

About You:

You will have a strong capability to manage challenging projects with an excellent customer focus, outstanding interpersonal skills, and the ability to develop and articulate well thought out business solutions.

To be considered for this role you will have proven experience as a systems engineer or currently in a security-focused role (or a preference towards specialising in security) with key experience in training and ideally strong knowledge and experience across the following:

• Microsoft Servers, Exchange, O365
• VMware and virtualization
• Networking
• Mobility solutions
• VoIP
• Monitoring systems and networks for security breaches
• Experience in performing vulnerability assessments
• Knowledge of security frameworks, standards and best practices
