We are looking for a system administrator to support our Finance systems and applications. The ideal candidate is someone familiar with system administration accountabilities; a strong communicator; a good collaborator and team player; a person who approaches problems and challenges with positivity, creativity and an open mind.

 

Role & Responsabilities

Your roles include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage the configuration and operation of our billing, payroll and accounting systems- experience with Unit4 financials, Salesforce, Zuora, Netcracker and FP&A is an asset.
  • Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution.
  • Experience with both SaaS and on premise applications.
  • Implement and maintain policies and procedures in line with both security and financial controls.
  • Liaise with our internal and vendor support teams to ensure applications and infrastructure are upgraded and patched inline with support agreements and internal policies.
  • Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords.
  • Provide technical support for software issues our users encounter both independently and by working with the vendors.
  • Analyze issues and formulate solutions.
  • Troubleshoot system and application issues.
  • Use external information to research and resolve issues when needed.
  • Consistently update the ticket tracking system with status and fixes.
  • Ability to manage multiple issues, priorities and goals.
  • Document and adhere to all departmental standards, processes, and enterprise policies.

 

Qualifications

Soft Skills:

  • Proactive, professional and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent time management and the capability to handle multiple tasks/priorities.
  • Ask questions and seeks clarification and direction when required.
  • A quick learner, self-motivated, able to work both independently as well as cooperatively with the team under tight deadlines to generate superior results.

Technical Skills:

  • Extensive experience working with an enterprise grade financial system (such as SAP, Peoplesoft or Unit4). in a super user/administrator like capacity.
  • Proficient in enterprise software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, Planner.

 

Education

Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent program or IT experience required.

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
