He angitūtanga: About the Role
A new role has been created to provide dedicated support to our Waikato Operations Manager on a part time 0.5FTE, 2-year fixed term contract. You will be the first appointment to this position which allows you to work closely with the Operations Manager to shape this job into something fantastic.
You will be responsible for providing personal assistant tasks such as diary and email management, information sharing with the leadership team, and carrying out other administrative tasks through utilising DOC's existing systems. An important part of your role is to request and compile additional or supplementary information for the Operations Manager to enable decision-making, fulfil relationships with MÄori and to uphold wellbeing and safety. This role will offer you variety, through the work led by the Waikato Team. Such as working with our Treaty partner, biodiversity, facilities, community, and statutory functions. We also lead freshwater conservation projects.
You will be based in our Te Rapa office for 20 hours per week. Our business hours are Monday – Friday 8am – 4.30pm the 20 hours can be negotiated for flexibility within that boundary.
