How you will contribute
You will:
- Define requirements for analysis in a given business area and perform detailed analysis and identify trends defined in the requirements
- Identify patterns and help the business react to changing business conditions
- Perform root-cause analysis and interpret data
- Work with large amounts of data such as facts, figures, and mathematics/formulas and undertake analytical activities and delivers analysis outputs in accordance with customer needs and conforming to established standards
- Understand and be involved with aspects of the data science process
- As the investigator on the data science team, you will apply your knowledge of languages and pull data out of SQL databases, using Tableau/Power BI type tools, and producing basic data visualizations and reporting dashboards

This role is responsible to govern GSCP defined AMEA lane activation strategy and ensure cross-regional compliance within the required GSCP's quality standards. Support MIAPL and broader organization in implementing the GSCP lane activation strategic goals and objectives
What you need to know about this position:
Position Accountability
1) Governance & Advising
- Attending New Project meetings:
- to brief the project team on the GSCP model
- to advise on the impact the GSCP has on the project
- to advise on the timeline/tasks/leadtimes required to be taken into consideration if lane changes are required
- Work with global SMEs for GSCP lane exclusions and guidelines: Finance, Tax, LogOps etc. Ensure these exclusions are thoroughly documented for audit purposes.
- Reporting to senior management on the progress and concerns/risks (BAU Status Meeting)
- Review new enhancements and developments being proposed in new releases to ensure they meet business needs.
- Ensure custom changes to the GSCP model design are kept to a minimum to strive for standardization where possible.
2) Issue Resolution - Escalations only
- Point of escalation for issues relating to GSCP lanes, especially at Month End and Year End Closing
3) Training
- Training of key stakeholders on the GSCP model
- Training of impacted stakeholders on the High Level GSCP Lane Activation Process (BD/PCDMs)
4) Process Improvement
- Adviser for new system/process changes that impact the business
- Recent Examples:
- Alignment of the GSCP Workflow with the I2M process
- Impact assessment for new IP Activation Date field in Lane Config. Table
- GSCP Design Strategy
- Ensure GSCP Design Strategy is kept up-to-date when a new scenario is implemented. Communicate these changes to the Master Data leads to re-train the back office team.
