Student Support Officer
Sydney Institute of Interpreting and Translating (SIIT) is looking for a motivated individual to join our student Service team. This is a fast-paced role providing quality services to a range of stakeholders including students, education agents and internal members.
Duties & responsibilities
- Processing of all applications;
- Reception of clients including students, agents and visitors;
- Referrals of enquiries to various departments or personnel;
- Updating of students records including attendance, academic progress and other information in student management system.
- Making appropriate referrals to other sections for further services including the issues concerning the attendance and academic progress of particular student;
- Assisting in marketing activities and special events if required;
- Other administrative duties if required;
To be successful in this position, candidate will possess:
- Bachelor degree or above;
- Fluent in four English language skills, understanding of another world language will be viewed as a bonus, but not a must;
- Competent or advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook)
- Ability to meet challenging deadlines with great attention to details;
- Possessing qualities such as, being responsible, reliable and committed to student service and related tasks
- At least 3-year working experience in student services
