We have got an exciting opportunity for Student Services Officer/Receptionist to be part of our team in Brisbane office.

Key Responsibilities: 

Student Services Officer 

  • Providing outstanding student services support to ECA Students
  • Resolving and responding to student’s non-formal complaints and feedback 
  • Developing and refining the Continuous Improvement Register
  • Checking student file contents on RTOM/Meshed: Enrolment Form, Contact Details, Letter of Offer, Direct Debit form etc
  • Taking photos for ID cards, upload images on RTOM, print and distribute student ID Cards 
  • Managing orientation and registration for intakes and assisting in Graduation arrangements 
  • Data entry and updating of student’s profiles and details in RTOM /Meshed
  • Monitor, analyse and report on Student Attendance records
  • Preparing reports as required and status update of students on RTOM/Meshed
  • Liaising with staff to ensure efficient management of student enquiries and deadlines are met
  • Accurately recording, filing, and distributing all student related inward and outward correspondence including email and internal correspondence
  • Assisting with other administrative duties as required and any other duties designated by the Team

Receptionist

  • Greet and welcome guests on arrival 
  • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls 
  • Ongoing communication with staff (campus meetings, email, phone)
  • Setting up and organizing meeting rooms (including catering)
  • Assisting students with general enquiries
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email 
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office  
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material 
  • Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries 
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing

As the successful candidate you will ideally have:

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a busy team environment 
  • Ability to organise and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience within a Registered Training Organisation or education program
  • Experience and understanding of  international students 
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Student Management System 
  • Strong attention to detail and follow through on tasks
