Job Description: 

Applications are currently invited for the full-time position of Student Services Administrator. The Student Service Administrator is the welcome, warm face of Guildford Grammar School and plays an important role in coordinating and supporting student attendance. They are the first point of contact for students, parents and teachers for attendance, lost property, and general queries. 

The role is the front face of responsible for ensuring accurate records of Senior School student attendance are maintained and works with key members of the School community and communicates with students and families when student attendance issues arise. The position will be in the Senior School Administration office. Whilst this will be mostly a term time only position working full time hours, some additional hours will be negotiated.

  • Possess highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of ‘Duty of Care’ and place a high value on Child well-being
  • Possess a strong work ethic, striving for continuous improvement and the achievement of high standards
  • Be responsible and held accountable for continuing compliance with our Child Safe and Child Safe Reporting Policy. It is expected that all staff will maintain contemporary know of the Policy and enact the Policy at all times. All staff have a responsibility to raise any concerns they have about child protection to the Principal immediately.

 

Essential Requirements:

  • Have the right to work in Australia 
  • Hold current Working with Children Check and Police Clearance
  • Hold a relevant qualification or have suitable experience 
  • Be supportive of the ethos and values of the Anglican tradition of the School
  • In accordance with Government Health Directions, proof of vaccination status or an original certified copy of a valid medical exemption will be required as part of the recruitment process.
