Your new company

This company is a nationwide engineering consultancy, covering civil, structural, geotechnical and environmental engineering with a focus on providing exceptional services to their clients. With a medium sized office in Wanaka, the office is growing but has still retained a close knit feel. Due to an increased workload, they are now looking for an Intermediate Structural Engineer or Engineering Technician to join the team.

Your new role

A critical part of the structural engineering team, your role will be varied but will predominantly be focused on structural consulting engineering works including structural engineering design and documentation, construction monitoring, site inspections, investigation, testing and measuring and preparation of site inspection reports. Projects will be varied across the residential, commercial and industrial sector.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this position, you will need:

• A tertiary qualification in Structural Engineering
• Minimum of 3 years professional experience in structural engineering within NZ
• Experience in design with steel, concrete, timber and masonry structures
• Ability to manage own timeframe to ensure client deadlines are met, while delivering financial targets
• The right to live and work in New Zealand
