We are on the hunt for a dynamic and self motivated individual to manage our Westfield Chermside store.
Arkive Vintage is a collection of men's & ladies vintage clothing, accessories and homewares. We stock original vintage pieces dating from the 1930s to the 1990s - most are in their original state, and some are brought up to date with some clever customisation. We also stock new product that have a nod to vintage.
Your role would involve:
- Drive sales to hit targets and KPI's
- Ensuring high levels of customer service and styling
- Maintain outstanding housekeeping, store presentation and visual merchandising standards
- Manage stock levels through communication with HQ as a result of analysis of reports and awareness of best sellers & customer requests
- Manage markdowns and stocktakes
- Lead, recruit, train, motivate and coach a small team
- Accurate and efficient completion of required administrative paperwork
- Report on business performance, sales, new initiatives and relevant issues
- Manage escalations from customers (feedback, complaints)
- Keep up to date on new products, services & industry trends
- Minimising shrinkage through adopting and displaying high security standards
- Look for new ways to drive foot traffic to the store and digital platforms through incentives, advertising, events etc

- Experience in a similar role
- Sales and results focused
- Ability to execute tasks in an efficient manner with a proactive approach to meeting deadlines
- Visual Merchandising and display experience
- Self motivated and with a positive attitude
- Strong leadership skills
- Good decision-making and commercial savvy
- An understanding and awareness of the history of fashion and decades
- Flexibility to work across the week as well as late nights, weekends and holidays
- A dynamic individual with an appreciation for vintage fashion that can contribute to our team in a positive way!
