Job Description
- Works with senior management to ensure compliance with tax regulations. Assigned business/business partner areas are large and highly complex.
- Incumbent demonstrates extensive knowledge of corporate tax best practices and a specialized understanding of the end-to-end processes for withholding, depositing and reporting non-payroll taxes and has a conceptual understanding of which tools and systems are used in resolving these issues.
- Ensures tax financial disclosure is in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. In partnership with management, establishes the corporate tax strategy for the business/business partner area and is accountable for ensuring the implementation of that strategy.
- Leverages complex corporate tax techniques to achieve business objectives. Performs the research and analysis of tax laws and cases to provide management with recommendations and opinions by applying tax concepts.
- Works directly with inside and outside counsel to develop tax planning strategies and tax return filing positions. Prepares tax provision forecasts and quarterly tax provisions.
- Identifies the most relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor and manage business performance, develops the metrics tracking mechanisms and provides insights to the outcomes of the scorecard reporting.
- Uses existing strategic relationships to influence at all levels of the organization. Liaises with lines of businesses and reporting vendors to ensure proper reporting of tax information.
- Responsible for overseeing the activities of more junior team members and providing guidance to improve their performance. No direct reports. Oversees, advises and guides less experienced Corporate Tax roles and may direct their work.
- Responsibilities are primarily specialized to address the corporate tax needs of a particular business/business partner area and business risk appetite. However, tasks often produce cross-regional impacts.
- Modified based upon local regulations/requirements.Bachelor‘s Degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- 7-10 years of total work experience in market risk preferred. Experience in tax compliance or accounting preferred.

Chartered Accountant with around 15 years experience in Taxation , Following are key attributes require for this role
- Managing tax compliance, reporting, and filing works for the India entities.
- Prepare and review tax calculations, estimates and reports accruals and purpose
- Partnering with corporate finance, tax, legal business and Operations teams
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of all corporate income tax and GST returns
- Manage all Tax Litigation with various Appellant forums in close coordination with our Tax Advisors and Legal Counsels.
- Establish appropriate system or processes for tax risk management for the India entities
- Act as the key point of contact and support for our India taxation matters
- Liaise with tax authorities and provide tax audit support for the India entities
- Manage external tax authorities and consultants locally .
- Review current and deferred tax provision
- Provide internal tax advisory services and support on business operation matters .
- Lead and coordinate ad-hoc tax-driven business initiatives
