WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
As Senior Manager and Product Owner for our CRM Marketing Technology capabilities, you are responsible for advancing our core client interaction capabilities and enabling our Channel Partners to present the most relevant & timely communications to RBC clients.
You will define plans to evolve our CRM ecosystem with new capabilities & features in partnership with Technology & Operations (IT). You will work with our IT peers to continuously enhance our CRM technological landscape, ensuring we deliver solutions to inform our Advisor & Digital channels with the best client offer/treatment recommendations.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Evaluate our existing CRM ecosystem & processes, and define and recommend opportunities to enhance its capabilities & utility
- Define work and priorities of CRM IT resources and collaborate with related stakeholders in Client Relationship Management & Analytics (CRM&A), Lines of Business, Channel Partners, and other stakeholders as needed
- Be the Product Owner of the CRM Ecosystem, which include the Operational Data Store for client treatments and the Interface Gateway (REST API & Kafka). As Product Owner, you will follow Agile methodologies to define stories, prioritize the backlog, and streamline execution of initiatives while maintaining the conceptual integrity of overall features/capabilities
- Inform the annual budgeting process as it relates to Application Development funding for IT resources and manage operational costs. This includes aligning work to key strategic projects, improving processes, meeting regulatory needs, and any incremental cost savings and revenue growth targets
- Define change management activities for related stakeholders as enhancements to the CRM Ecosystem are continuously planned and deployed
- Be the subject matter expert of the CRM Ecosystem, providing guidance/governance and recommendation support to stakeholders as needed
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
- Strong knowledge of various marketing technology solutions and strong ability to partner with IT and represent business needs re: CRM technologies and enhancements
- Knowledge and understanding of Retail / Financial business, CRM, Marketing, and strategic planning
- Strong analytical and strategic mindset with an ability to impact and influence stakeholders, address organizational obstacles, and manage through ambiguity
- Strong ability to lead a virtual team by example, cross-unit collaboration and information sharing
Nice-To-Have
- Strong project management and implementation skills
- Knowledge of RBC’s Sales & Service Platform and related Channel interfaces is considered a strong asset
- Experience with Agile management practices strongly preferred
