What is the opportunity?

The Analytics Platform & Innovation (AP&I) Squad within Canadian Data Asset (CDA) team is responsible for data collection and activation capabilities. In this role you will be responsible for strategically planning and managing successful deployment of the analytics capabilities within the mobile banking channel. The role will prioritize, coordinate, develop, lead, communicate and execute activities to ensure an industry leading digital analytics practice within RBC.

What will you do?

• Lead, manage and establish standards for digital analytics solutions within the digital channels
• Establish strong working relationships across business units and platforms to build influence and impact with key business partners.
• Collaborate with groups to define and achieve deliverables and ensure initiatives are effectively integrated into RBC procedures and processes.
• Work with stakeholders to understand their business objectives and translate into analytics integration, technology strategy and requirements
• Manage the implementation of multiple concurrent initiatives of varying complexity in a time efficient manner.  Monitor and control activities according to plan.  
• Continuously identify potential issues, conflicts, and risks.  Analyze, mitigate and escalate where appropriate
• Collaborate and contribute on cross-functional data initiatives and manage the effective implementation of assigned deliverables.

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

• 4+ years of experience in digital analytics such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics, focusing on measurement of digital performance, data integration and development
• Develop, customize and troubleshoot events and tags in complex environments with the use of JavaScript, XML, HTML and CSS.
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Familiarity with software lifecycle including application development, debugging, performance, security and deployment
• Has experience in one or more of the following areas: digital analytics, optimization, statistical modeling, consumer insights, and/or marketing analytics
• Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills along with strong presentation skills. Ability to determine the information and communication needs of the stakeholders and project.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Firebase, CDP Tag Management tool
• Experience with one or more of Swift, Ajax, REST, JSON, Angular.js, Node.js, REACT
• SCRUM and AGILE development practices
