Job Description:

Sr. developer for the Mainframe Cobol applications, part of a large multi-technology tower support.

Duties and responsibilities

• Resolve all complex technical issues related to the Mainframe technologies
• Report the program status on a daily and weekly basis
• Identify areas of innovation, architectural improvement on the Client Systems

Qualification & Skills include:

• Education: Engineering (B.Tech. B.E.)
• Specialized knowledge and Skills (Must)
• Cobol, SAS, CICS
• IMS and DB2 Databases
• IBM-Host:  JCL, Panvalet, ESP Job Scheduler, TSO, RMDS
• At least 5 years of prior experience with either developing or managing the IBM Mainframe systems
• Excellent understanding of the IBM Z/OS environment
• Specialized knowledge and skills (Preferred)
• RACF Security understanding
• Experience with Legacy migration initiatives
• Experience with performance optimization Abilities
• Good communication and team leadership abilities
