Senior Java Backend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Experience in Spring Core, Spring boot, REST Web service, Spring Batch, Wire mock server, Hystrix Circuit Breaker Pattern, Openshift, Mulesoft, Hibernate, Slf4j, Log4j, Jmockit, JSF, PrimeFaces
• Define standards and best practices
• Java + J2ee development
• Java experience on micro services
• Create POCs to evaluate tech stack, frameworks and approaches
• Coordination with offshore teams
• Help team in deriving the right solution
• Working in a highly collaborative environment in Agile Sprint model
• Need hands on lead, JAVA background with/without cloud experience, spring, microservices
• Ready to work on complex system, also play some of the other roles required by the team.
• SAFE knowledge who is hands on technical delivery with cloud/API/engineering background
• Used Jira/backlog management/DevOps tools, rapid releases, B/G deployments etc. Nice to have flow metrics
• Good communication.

 Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering.
• 8 to 12 years’ experience in the design, development of Java / J2EE and angular applications
• Delivered J2EE project 

Nice to have:

• TDD/BDD & Docker/Kubernetes
• INSURANCE experience is added advantage
