Whittaker Ag is a family-owned and operated business based in Fairlie. We are seeking a motivated person to join our team in the up-and-coming spray season experience is not essential, training is provided to the right candidate although an advantage would be experience with spray trucks or a farming/contracting or trade background.

We operate modern spray trucks and work on a range of different farms from dairy & crop through to the high country of the Mackenzie.

Fairlie is a fantastic country town with lots to offer from snow skiing hunting, fishing, lakes, great schools, and daycare for the young ones. There is job opportunity for partners with a lot of thriving businesses in town or on farms/ski fields etc. We can help with finding accommodation if required.

Our busy months are from Oct - to Jan, the winter we spend in the workshop rebuilding trucks or building new gear Mon - to Friday.

For the right person I have contacts in Western Australia and an opportunity may be there for you to go across the ditch and work on a large scale crop farm for the winter operating tractors or sprayers if this were to interest you, if not there is plenty to do around the shop. The pay rate will be based on experience and skills.
