The Marketing Revenue team is currently seeking qualified candidates, for the position of Revenue Forecasting & Modeling Specialist to join their team in Mississauga. We are looking for an individual with a strong business analysis and financial background. This candidate will be responsible to develop and maintain revenue models’ supporting the organization’s budgeting and forecasting infrastructure, complete data analytics, and understand key business drivers. This position will work closely with finance on revenue planning and budgets. 

 

Candidates may have to pass an Intermediate Excel test to qualify for this position.

 

Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • As a member of the Revenue team, this individual will serve as an analyst supporting critical lines of business that support our company’s success.  Responsibilities will include:
  • Experienced in forecasting including building and maintain complex models
  • Ability to identify and incorporate key drivers to improve forecasting process
  • Partner with Finance team to ensure planning and forecasting processes
  • Drive continuous improvement in forecasting process
  • Understand changes to network and billing systems and impact on revenues
  • Month-end analysis
  • Creation and maintenance of key performance metrics
  • Various other ad hoc analyses and special projects as needed

 

Essential Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong analytical and data mining skills, with an acute attention to detail
  • Strong financial background and business acumen
  • Good understanding of forecasting analytics
  • Ability to build and maintain forecasting models
  • Able to understand key business drivers
  • Autonomous and disciplined self-starter
  • Strong organizational skills

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 1 to 3 years of proven experience in Business Analytics (Wireless industry is an asset)
  • Strong with MS Office (Excel/Access/PowerPoint)
  • Post-secondary degree Marketing, Accounting, Business or Engineering

 

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
