Responsibilities
The SMC Solution Lead Business Applications Asia is a leader within our SMC Sales organization. As a member of our global Specialist Sales leadership team, the SMC Solution Lead will be responsible for the following priorities:​
- Deliver Business Applications revenues and Customer acquisition goals for Asia through a mix of personal contributions with customer and partner wins and empowering Inside & Field Sales staff to achieve more.​
- Lead and optimize Business Apps Sales execution across Digital & Field Specialists, including managing Win Rooms, Deal SCRUMs, leading deal coaching sessions and directly engaging strategic accounts​
- Capture voice of customer and partner with regular engagements to understand core needs and communicate critical insights to Corporate Sales and R&D LT​
- Land Business Apps Sales Plays including playbooks, sales programs and readiness to ensure that all sellers understand and can articulate our business and technical value proposition to unlock new business value for customer and Microsoft implementing the Catalyst Sales Framework.​
- Directly engage Business Apps specialist and partners to support co-sell wins and plan joint tactical business development plans to expand market demand. ​
- Lead SMC Stakeholder alignments for Business Apps across SMC Field, BG, GPS and Inside Sales to ensure transparency, clear communications and best practice sharing wherever possible.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience developing high-performing Business Apps sales or marketing teams and a proven track record of exceeding targets
- 5+ years of experience with business acumen expertise as well as Dynamics AX, NAV, GP, SL, Dynamics 365 or Power Platform technology knowledge to connect how customer business issues impact their IT environments.​
- Successful management of large-scale, complex deal cycles with Cloud services and/or programmatic scale campaigns that drive new Cloud business.​
- Experience coaching direct and indirect reports in pipeline management, opportunity management, and account planning.​
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills. ​
- Executive level communication skills (both written and verbal), and the ability to mentor others.​
​ EDUCATION​
- Bachelor’s degree with Computer Science or a similar information technology-related discipline, or in Business Administration preferred.​
- Master’s degree preferred.​
- Certification in sales, sales management, complex sales training, sales methodologies, broad evangelism through events (presentation skills), and consultative selling desired.​
- Additional training or education in Dynamics preferred.​
- Strong Excel analysis skills preferred.
