The opportunity

EY DnA is the data and advanced analytics capability within EY Asia-Pacific, with over 500 specialist employees working across multiple industry sectors.
 

Our Data & Analytics practice is seeking to expand our team of Geospatial professionals as we continue to grow in this area. We are looking to add an experienced solution architect with a strong grasp of Geospatial technology.

As a GIS Solutions Architect, you will support our clients in defining and implementing a data journey aligned with their strategic objectives. Some of your responsibilities will include:

• First point of contact for any architectural and technology topics of GIS 
• Building and maintaining GIS databases
• Creating and maintaining process automation related to data maintenance
• Provide consulting during the detailed design, build, test and deploy phases, and reengaged to perform benefits realization.
• Responsible for partnering with key roles (e.g., project managers, business analysts, etc.) to create solutions that are aligned to EA architecture standards and principles, leverage common solutions and services, and meet the financial targets (cost and benefits).
• Help our clients to understand and work through ways to resolve current public and organisational issues by leveraging a strong geospatial infrastructure and architecture.

Skills And Attributes For Success:

• Strong experience (3+ years) in the ESRI stack (including ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online) and how this interacts with other common GIS software from architecture perspective (e.g. FME Server)
• Strong working knowledge and/or certification in industry standard architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF)
• Experience and/or certifications in industry platforms or domains (e.g. SAP, Microsoft, Cloud, REST, APIs, Databases)
• An ability to distil complex information into a clear and concise understanding.
• Excellent analytical skills in both a business and technology solutions context.
• Experience in requirements gathering and documentation, business process modelling, user story creation, functional/non-functional analysis, and/or business case development.
• An ability to produce quality project management and/or technical documentation.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Degree in Geography / IT / Engineering or related field
• Proficiency with database programming languages such as SQL, R, and/or Python
• Certifications in ArcGIS Enterprise Administration Professional, Azure.
• Accreditation in Prince2, Agile.
• Knowledge of Pega frameworks, strategic applications and cloud deployments.
• Client facing management consulting experience.
• Current national security clearance at Baseline or above
