Edge Extensibility team owns Edge Browser Extensions story end to end – where you will get opportunity to delight developer community, win consumer mindshare with differentiated experiences and innovate on growth ideas. The team owns extension developer flow, browser client experience, extensions API platform, high scale services interfacing browser clients and powering developer flow and extensions store. You will work with multiple Azure based technologies and also within the Edge client codebase (derived from the Chromium Project).

• Skilled at design and implementation with a focus on quality  
• Create layered, componentized, testable, interface-based designs  
• Robust implementation and crafted end-user experiences  

• Design highly performant, highly usable, scalable, world-ready, accessible software  
• Collaborate across functional and partner teams to define requirements  

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications  

• 3+ years of professional industry experience working on large projects  
• A BS or MS in Computer Science or a related technical discipline   

• Excellent design, coding, debugging, and problem-solving skills  

 Preferred Qualifications  

• 3+ years of experience with C++ or Windows development 
• Experience with Windows architecture and internals is a plus.  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills   

• Experience in Machine Learning, Data Driven Engineering or Agile Development is a plus  
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies is a plus
