Being an Software Engineer at iManage means

You will be joining the Closing Folders product team at iManage. Closing Folders is used by customers around the world to manage complex legal transactions including high profile mergers and acquisitions. Youll join a small, ultra-focused team where every developer is empowered to make a direct impact on the product and leadership is obsessed with taking the time do things the right way.

Here is what one of our leaders, Senior Software Engineer (Mack Heller) has to say about the role: In a typical week, you will ship python code to production 3-5 times, working intensively with Django, Django REST framework, and a wide array of AWS services. Youll also participate in or lead workshops on coding best practices with the rest of our team. While we take our work seriously, our team is often described as super chill. Its important that we keep work to work hours.

iM Responsible For

Writing python code and working closely with Django, Django Rest Framework and Pantsbuild

Working with a product manager, designer and front-end developers through the entire lifecycle of a new feature

Obsessing over building quality, high performing software

Pairing with developers both junior and senior to you - mentoring and learning from others.

iM Qualified Because I Have

A Bachelors Degree (in a computer science or related field is preferred)

2 years of hands-on experience in building software for the web

Experience with any of the following is an asset but not required: python, Django, Django Rest Framework, AWS, terraform, Pantsbuild, monorepos

Willingness and passion to learn
