Azure Digital Twins is a foundational service of the IoT Platform that is used for modelling people, places, and things, to create digital representations of entire connected environments.  The Azure Digital Twins UX team is responsible for creating experiences for understanding these connected environments through rich visualization capabilities and intuitive experiences to manage connected environments as they change and evolve.

Responsibilities

Good candidates for this role love doing whatever they can to help our customers succeed.  In many cases, this will be creating clean, intuitive, and beautiful experiences for consuming and managing digital twins.  It also means making sure our experiences are reliable, frequently updated, secure, and compliant.  Candidates should be comfortable being a senior member of a vibrant and collaborative engineering culture, where they will be expected to create reusable architectural patterns, mentor junior team members, and regularly participate in code and design reviews.

As a Front End/Full Stack Engineer your responsibilites will include but not limited to: 

• Develop OSS React components for internal and external consumption
• Design engineering patterns that allow us to scale and accelerate codebase development
• Maintain and improve engineering systems for rapid build and deployment agility
• Work with design, research, and product management to ensure features are aligned with customer expectations and priorities
• Review contributions from other engineers, and mentor junior team members

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years JavaScript/TypeScript experience in a modern JS framework (React, Angular, Vue, etc)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or similar industry experience)
• Expertise with modern React concepts (hooks, functional components, etc)
• Experience with production CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and Github
