Join the team in Office 365 Foundations Capacity that is responsible for Exchange online cloud platforms such as Capacity management. You will have an opportunity to contribute to the development of Cloud Fabric and Change Fabric to manage, deploy, monitor, and repair millions of systems in the datacenters worldwide and building a platform to manage the security and compliance for those systems. Develop high-performance machine learning systems for detecting and predicting abnormality, intrusion, fraud, masquerading, malware, etc. If you are a strong developer passionate about Cloud and Data Science technologies, eager and able to delve into and learn exciting new technologies, with the tenacity to solve hard technical problems, then this position is for you. 

Responsibilities

• Working in the Microsoft productivity suite where you enable millions of users to have instant access to their mail, calendar, contacts, tasks, notes on their smart phones
• Delivering thousands of new machines monthly for O365 service as well as maintaining their hardware health and security 
• Meeting the rapidly growing capacity demands 
•  Improving the velocity and throughput of our capacity pipeline 
• Designing and development of core capacity infrastructure 
•  Being DevOps and working with services spanning thousands of servers, doing tens of billions of transactions and serving hundreds of millions of users.

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related major. 
• Strong coding skills in C/C++ or C#; knowledge of scripting languages like PowerShell a plus. 
• 3+ years of software development experience in designing and building highly scalable online services. 
• Strong analytical, design, and development skills and a willingness to embrace the DevOps culture and take end to end ownership of the service. 
•  Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese.
• Learns new areas quickly, loves to take on big challenges, and is unfazed by ambiguity. 
• Thrives in a fast-paced, agile development environment and can multitask fluidly. 
• Experience with hardware, Windows OS, networking is a definite plus.
• Experience in mid-tier development, web services, networking and/or database development are also a plus. 
•  Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements required for this role.
