The Notes team at Microsoft is responsible for OneNote, Sticky Notes, and some other cool future stuff we can’t talk about yet. This role requires working on a variety of services and machine learning models to unify quick note taking and recall across the Microsoft Graph, Sticky Notes, OneNote and key partners.  We work on delivering modern & mobile centric solutions for real customers scenarios, spanning many aspects of their work and home lives.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality code in an iterative and rapid manner to build the experience, infrastructure, services, and related systems for a Fluid-based OneNote, working in crews of 2-6 people.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of Software Engineering experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines, or equivalent industry experience
• Demonstrated experience in shipping high-quality products or services

Additional Qualifications (Bonus Credit)

• Experience designing, developing, deploying and evolving web-based user experiences and services.
• Strong problem solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with Fluid Framework, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Azure, and/or SharePoint.
• Experience with cross-discipline and cross-team collaboration.
• Excellent technical communication skills.
• Experience analyzing and improving full-stack web & service efficiency and reliability.
