Job Title - Software Developer – Senior

Period: 12 Months

Working Hrs.: 7.25 Hrs. / day

Must haves:

Demonstrated and result-based experience in User Interface design, integration design, and data modelling for enterprise applications.

Skilled in designing solutions from business requirements, especially using UML, JEE, Service Bus, and ETL.

Practical knowledge in applying various design patterns and standards to technical design and development.

Knowledgeable in Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) for web application development, OMG technical standards, and OPS architecture standards.

Hands-on and demonstrated experience in design and development using core JEE technologies, Service-Oriented architecture, SOAP and REST Web Services. Enterprise Service Bus, Message Queue, etc.

Demonstrated hand-on experience leveraging IBM Integration Bus (IIB) for integration of JAVA and .Net framework enterprise level applications

Experience and Skillset Requirements

Skills and Knowledge

·        Design and development experience using IBM Integration Bus and IBM Websphere Message Broker

·        Design experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and services development using IBM Integration Bus

·        Design and development experience of distributed systems with a focus on back-end integration and orchestration of services

·        Design and development experience of message flows for event driven, real-time and batch processing.

·        Experience delivering SOA solutions by integrating applications and services Message queue development and integration or equivalent (IBM MQ is preferred)

·        Experience in working with portals that handle documents requiring digital signatures and interoperable between multiple applications

·        Experience in building asynchronous integration mechanisms and patterns (not limited to file based interfaces)

·        Advanced knowledge with integration tools and services using Websphere message broker, Java, along with web services technologies and tools (WSDL, SOAP, XML, MQ messaging, ESB)

·        Experience in middleware software installation, configuration, tuning and administration, as well as experience with application development

·        Experience in structured methodologies for the design, development,

Desirable Skillset

·        Knowledge of creating APIs that require mapping between Java based application XSDs and mainframe copybooks

·        Experience with IBM DataPower, JRules

·        Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills

·        A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines

·        Ability to translate/interpret business requirements to technical requirements and deliverables

Criteria 1: Technical Design - 30 Points

Criteria 2: Integration - 30 Points

Criteria 3: Technical Framework - 10 Points

·        Hands-on and demonstrated experience in development using Java Frameworks (e.g. Spring, Angular, React, Shiro, etc.), and technologies such as Hibernate, JQuery, HTML5/CSS, SpringBoot, Azure.

·        Must have prior experience in working with containerized environments such as Azure, OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes, Microservices, etc.

Criteria 4: Middleware - 20 Points

·        Hands on and demonstrated experience in middleware technologies such as IBM Service Bus, Message Queue, SOA Appliances, API Connect, Workbenches, etc.

·        Demonstrated experience using IBM Integration Bus and IBM Websphere Message Broker

Criteria 4: Security - 10 Points

·        Experience with Security and Web Services Security standards and frameworks. Must have extensive working experience in WS-Security, PKI, LDAP, SAML 2.0, RBAC, etc
