Description
As a Software architect in the Digital Studio, you will guide the development of major IT projects and mandates that have a significant impact on the Bank's profitability and efficiency and which require high-level experience and expertise. You will act as a leader in your field of expertise and make recommendations on technology upgrades and maintenance of digital channels.
Your main challenges:
- Develop technology solutions that meet functional and non-functional business needs and are in line with corporate orientations
- Serve as an expert on the technological aspects of the Personal Banking digital channels
- Collaborate with technical teams (developers, business analysts, solutions architects, domain architects, etc.) and challenge proposed technology concepts
- Play an active role in deliveries, with the development teams
- Influence the Bank’s architecture decisions and directions
- Diagnose problem situations and help solve complex problems
Requirements:
- A completed bachelor's degree in a related field plus 10 years of relevant experience or a completed master's degree in a related field plus 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience in Java/JEE back-end development (Rest, microservices, GraphQL, etc.)
- Experience in front-end development (React, React Native)
- Experience with containerized environments (OpenShift, AWS EKS) and tracing tools (Datadog or similar)
- Experience with message broker technologies (Kafka or other)
- Experience with DevOps technologies (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Jenkins Cloud, Nexus, Artifactory, Helm)
- Knowledge of Agile concepts
- Excellent ability to communicate technical information in layman's terms and to understand complex technical concepts
- Experience in writing technical documents
- Leadership, initiative and teamwork
- Bilingualism, both spoken and written (English and French)
